I just wanted to see if it's still in active development. If not, is there a better project out there to start from? I am having a very difficult time figuring out how to generate pptx files programmatically with PHP code without relying on Windows COM, so I just wanted to check here before I go down the path of trying to use PHPPowerPoint.

Currently Slide.php sets $_slideLayout = PHPPowerPoint_Slide_Layout::BLANK; . I want to add a different kind of layout such as Comparison or Content with Caption.

I changed private $_slideLayout = PHPPowerPoint_Slide_Layout::PICTURE_WITH_CAPTION and tried passing PHPPowerPoint_Slide_Layout::PICTURE_WITH_CAPTION to public function setSlideLayout(); but nothing changes...

How do i add a slide with a different layout than BLANK?

$textRun = $shape->createText('Foo Bar');
$shape->getFill()->setFillType(PHPPowerPoint_Style_Fill::FILL_SOLID);

I solved the problem by make a copy PHPPowerPoint.php of PHPPowerpoint.php.

Now I will try to generate some barcharts with overlayed histograms from a mysql database. Hopefully I be able to generate slideshows with key performance indicators as attachments to mails along with the base data
in Excel sheets. Wish me luck :)

New Post: Slideshow Viewer?

Hello.

This might be a stupid question, but I was wondering if there is some way to view the slides on-screen, before saving a newly created slideshow.

I mean: I have an instance of the class PHPPowerPoint in my script; Instead of creating a Writer and saving it to a file, can I just dump the object to the output, in HTML+CSS+AJAX format or something like that?

Thank you.
